In our journey to Singapore’s anniversary celebration, it’s important to remember things that are unique to Singapore culture and be reminded of our past to create a sense of belonging in Singapore.

In order to reach out to everyone in an accessible way, we created an App that presents popular activities that school-going students enjoyed in the 80s and 90s.

The SG Kampung games app will possess similar physics and activity-play as the actual App retain as much experience as the actual gameplay as possible.

This App connect the current generation of youths to traditional games, as well as create stories and conversations around what it meant and means to be Singaporean.

The app achieve the objectives in the following ways:

- Raise & Inspire a sense of belonging to Singapore.
- Build on our national identity and love for Singapore.
- Bridging Generations gap.
- Excite our community about celebrating Singapores 50th anniversary.
- Encourage Singaporeans to bond as a people and community.
The App also launched with the announcement of its alignment to celebrating SGs 50th Anniversary and to remember the old school activities that we have played before in an entertaining and fun way. It will also be presented in a way current generations can relate to, thus exciting them.

The App consists of 3 games mainly Flag Post, Eraser and Coin Soccer and will be looking.

1) Flag Post Game – It is everyone national pride and honour taking the lead to raising of Singapore National Flag with the national anthem. Long Live Our Flag!.

2) Eraser War Game – A popular games played among the kids in 1980s and 1990s regardless indoor or outdoor. The game may well have been forgotten in this generation.


3) Coin Soccer Game – Singapore has long been a hotbed of passion for football and as one of the national sport, it has no doubt played a huge part in the shaping of the local sporting scene. It was at its peak in the 1980s and 1990s during the Lion’s time in Malaysia Cup produced countless heroes. As a Singapore Pride and nation’s most popular sport, it is translated to something easier to play regardless where you are.
